The new trailer build was completed today, now I just waiting on it leaving Ga and arriving in TN!

2014 Corvette next to 1960 Corvette

All I can say is WOW! A friend from the GM plant had a pre-production 2014 C7 Corvette out at Cars and Coffee today.

We get some nice pictures with our 60, I think this one might be on the list to buy but maybe in red.

Pink Floyd – Week 16 progress

Week 16 has brought some good progress. Most of the body is ready for paint. We completed painting the underside, engine bay, interior and trunk in Blitz Black.  We have the red and white paint to do the exterior next.

We completed the frame rust repair and it now has a fresh coat of blitz black paint, the rear end is installed and the new front suspension is almost finished. Next will be installing the new stainless steel brake lines.

We still need to paint the motor and bell housing in Chevy Orange but we did finish painting the exhaust manifolds with POR 15 grey high temp paint.

We ordered new tires and wheels this week. We are going with 17×7 chrome Torq Thrust II wheels with 215/55/17 Falcon tires.

New Front SuspensionTest Fit

We did a test fit on the new front suspension test fit tonight. Over all it went in very easy, have a few items to work on still but it is very close to being complete. I installed the upper and lower A Arms, ball joints, steering knuckles and the Rack and Pinion. Still need to install the coil over shocks.
